Nepomuk

Greetings,

I can't find a way to use Nepomuk to search for files and directories. Synaptic shows everything is installed but I can only find Nepomuk cleaner in the menus.

Any ideas?

You use it by using the search feature in Dolphin, in Krunner (alt-f2 desktop search box). Also note the left pane in dolphin - those will filter by those file types as well, as well as by the time ranges shown there.

I see. But when I first upgraded to 14.04. I could see Neopuk indexing my files. When I did a fresh install it was not there anymore. Did the indexing take place?

In 14.04 it is now Baloo, which replaced Nepomuk. Baloo is indexing your files now.
