System sounds not available on Kubutu 14.04

I have downloaded and installed the latest version of Kubuntu, and the only problem I am having is getting the system sounds to work (mainly login sounds dond work). When I open up Systems settings and go into Multimedia settings, there are only two settings to work with: Audio CD`s & Audio Video Settings. I have looked around on the internet for a solution to activate the systems sounds, but I have not setting for Systems notifications to modify. Does this version of Kubntu no longer have this? And if this is not the case how can I fix or enable this.
    Thanks...

    System sounds

    KDE (and Kubuntu) defaults

From the KDE SC 4.11 onwards the default is no login/out sounds. Earlier: https://www.kubuntuforums.net/showth...l=1#post337453

The user could enable the login/out sounds : KDE System Settings > Application and System Settings > Manage Notifications > KDE Workspace:

More of the mixers and sound levels: https://www.kubuntuforums.net/showth...l=1#post337328 and https://www.kubuntuforums.net/showth...l=1#post337456

Thanks for the visual aids! During my searches I have been mainly reading text replies for solutions. When a person does a fresh install of Kubuntu, when you navigate to KDE System Settings > Application and System Settings >, you do not "see" KDE Wokspace, in the KDE Control Module. From "Manage Notifications" one needs to goto Applications> Event Source:> then select KDE Workspace from the dropdown window. From there I was able to locate and enable the systems sounds. I have been using KDE distros for some time now- I must have been asleep at the wheel to miss this one! Thanks for the help!
