    KOrganizer loses its colors

Ever since the Trusty Tahr upgrade, KOrganizer loses its colors for categories. I noticed immediately after the upgrade, all the categories for appointments were wiped. I added back the ones that I use. Using colors for categories in appointments is important to me because I can quickly see what type of appointment it is. A Skype appointment is blue, one in person is red, a pencil-in (unconfirmed) is gray, and all others are green.

I went into Settings ==> Manage Categories to add back all categories that I wanted.

Next I went into Settings ==> Configure KOrganizer ==> Colors and Fonts

And I set each color for each category. That works for a while. However, any time I close and reopen KOrganizer, the colors are gone and I have to set them again. Annoying!

I need to either fix this or use something else. I still haven't made the jump to syncing this with my Smartphone. If something else works better for that, that might be a reason also to switch. I like KOrganizer, Kontakt, and KAddressbook, but these things have go to work for me, not against me.

I have exactly the problem with the calendar since the upgrade. I've just given up making custom categories. I did post about it on here, but never got a reply...

I sent in a bug report. Perhaps you would be willing to add your two cents to it so that they know it's not an isolated case. The bug report is here:

I'm sorry...never got the password reset email, tried to make a whole new account, never got the confirmation email. I think this is the reason I've never reported a bug myself (apart from the fact that when an app crashes, KDE always rejected my login details if I tried to report it)

Oops, disregard this reply. I meant to write in another thread. Mods, you may delete this one.
