dist. upgrade 14.04 from Saucy normal

A notice popped for a dist. upgrade 14.04.

The upgrade from Saucy proceeded with no problems.

Of note:

a) There is now no gray popup at the top of the screen notifying that wireless is enabled, the wireless is just enabled.
b) A popup appeared to migrate Knotes, however, since Akonadai server was not running it stopped with a notice as to such.
c) A language support notice for Firefox popped and was completed.
d) A system update for Firefox KDE support popped and was completed.
e) Cosmetically speaking the tray icon for system update is now a bright blue little box.

So, is that what system update is supposed to look now? I thought that not having the update wheel anymore in my panel was due to some bug or something.

Hi, thanks for the comment.

After a little nosing around, I found that there were several blogs/articles which mentioned some cosmetic changes to various icons. Whatever others were changed, apparently the changes are subtle except this one.

Re my comment about there not being a notification pop about about network hooking up, after a few restarts the gray notification box has reappeared.

If you mean that the update "wheel" is gone, yes, it is now the little blue thingy.

I found a plascitince disk..........don't know........... it was dated in an alphanumeric writing..........i now seem to bee able to read what is written
