LiveDVD and Screen Riping

Hello,

I decided to download kubuntu ver 14.04.5 and make a livedvd for backup purposes.

I currently use 14.04.5 as my installed OS and have no screen problems.

After creating the livedvd, I tested it and found, to my surprise, that some screen riping is occurring.

If I needed to install this backup, would I be able to solve this video problem?

Ps. Power Saving is switched off
PPs. In 14.04.5 there is no compositor to configure (i.e., Full Screen Repaints; and X Render - solves screen riping in version 16)
