Today I wanted to install into an empty partition the new Version 14.04.5. I get on well until the moment I have to choose the keyboard. In the list of languages Swiss is not really represented, except towards the bottom under [Switzerland]. When I click this, the installation crashes.
This has been so since the first version of 14.04. Actually Switzerland has three main languages (which, once installed under another keybord), German Swiss, French Swiss and Italian Swiss, each on different from each other and also different from the general German, French and Italian standard keyboards.
One can overcome this, by selecting at this early stage any of the three (mother)languages and then change to the correct Keyboard in the System settings. However this is not rally satisfying as some of the main keys are at totally different places.
Has anybody a solution for the start error?
