Blue Screen PB XORG

Hello friends.
I use kubuntu, all was normal until I did this awful command

purge mysql-server-5.1 mysql-common...

I did this because I had problem with MySQL. I uninstalled MySQL, however I realized that without MySQL it was the mess. Muon disappeared, I reinstalled it. I rebooted ...and after no way to connect only with console. When I launched 'startx', I retrieved the following message :

Server terminated with error closing log file.
xinit giving up
xinit unable to connect to x server : Connection refused
xinit : server error.

It was recommended to take a look at this log file "/home/zabala/.local/share/xorg/Xorg.1.log, I put the copy below.
I tried to reboot using linux recovery, and fix, repair dpgk as suggested in GRUB menu nothing worked. I tried 'sudo apt-get update and upgrade', the problem is still here. I think -maybe - put the mess in some config files, but I don't know where :-(

PS- I tried 3 times to post, I don't know why, the two previous post disapeared nearly immediately. Can someone tell me why ?

Three points, though I'm not sure how helpful they are, nor how helpful you'll perceive them:

1. I don't understand how a mysql problem could cause your X problems. It might be a coincidence, or an indirect cause, say purging mysql made APT active, and a problem with it borked X. Have you got any non-standard sources or PPAs?
2. I suggest backing up your data, possibly doing a mysql dump using recovery mode, or using ctrl-alt-F2 to get a text console to run mysqldump, and reinstall Kubuntu. You may end up having to do it anyway. Using a torrent I've downloaded the iso in about 15 minutes, and I can install Kubuntu in 7 minutes onto my SSD. But then spent days or weeks reconfiguring things the way I like them...
3. Using btrfs, such mess ups can be backed out quickly.

Iam just a Kubuntu's user, not a specialist. I suppose the system use in some way MySQL, I don't know where and how. I used only standard packages.

I prefer to avoid to reinstall Kubuntu

I think my problem could be solved quickly, as I suspect it is just a mere problem with xorg, but I don't know Kubuntu enough to solve the problem quickly.

Have you tried restarting the display manager? Not sure if startx works the same as it used to, I recall it not working as expected somewhere recently when I was fiddling and experimenting recently.

systemctl restart sddm

Also, you are not running the startx command with sudo, are you?
