Recently there is a problem with Meltdown and Spectre. I read that updates that address this problem will be in kernel 4.15. Are older Kubuntu versions with older kernels going to get these updates?
I receive updates on my 14.04 regularly, like every month, now I have 3.13.0-141-generic, but I don't know what is in these updates. Are security patches included, something else?
I found articles that says that kernel 3.13 will be extended until April 2016.

What after that date? It is LTS with support until 2019. So, one year without kernel support?
I also found this graph

Looks like 3.13 will be supported until end of life of 14.04, so is the above articles wrong?
