Looking for something like plymouth manager

I am looking for something like plymouth-manager. The ppa ppa:mefrio-g/plymouthmanager no longer works. Just for playing with. The machine runs fine otherwise. Not a production machine and I have a recent clonezilla image. I hate reinstalling, so make the images a lot
