Hi there, after months with Ubuntu I switched to Kubuntu to get some experience with the KDE desktop. Everything is fine after the installation and I love it to play around with all the features and options KDE presents.
Unfortunately I have only one little problem with the illuminated keyboard which I do not get active in Kubuntu but which is active and adjustable with the F-keys out of the box in Ubuntu 14.04 and the pevious LTS version.
Notebook: ASUS N56JR
I am not a very experienced Linux user but in the past I was always able to find solutions for any problem to solve it by myself, but this time... :-(
In understand that Ubuntu/Kubuntu are just differnt desktop environments on the same Linux basis, so I think generally it should not be a big deal to get that activated as well, but I don't know how. I also tried a lot of the diffent keyboard setting given in KDE system setting but had no luck.
For you kind support and help thank you very much in advance.
Best regards,
Arne
