If you have copied text output that contains formatting (colors, highlighting, etc.), please do not enclose it in QUOTE or CODE tags. Just right-click your mouse and choose "Paste Without Formatting" or similar (Paste as plain text).
Really? , please do Alt-F2 and then type "Device Notifier" and then select Device Notifier and press enter.
You will see a blank window appear, right click in there and see if it helps.
Also Once you have this item activated you can find an icon in the taskbar that you can manage notifications with.
I think we're running around in circles. I *ALREADY* have the icon in my taskbar. And I *ALREADY* have it activated to notify upon detecting removable devices. And I *ALREADY* have its settings set the way I want them--which is the *EXACT* same way I have them set on ALL of my computers. Are the settings you're referring to somehow different from these?:
