NumLock is always turned off on LogIn Screen

How can I turn on the NumLock on the Login-Screen ?

I already tried to set it up in the menu for the KDE-Start in the keyboard-section.
I also tried to fix it with the "numlockx on" in the lightdm configuration -> nothing works...

In some BIOS settings you can set it to be on. That should get it before KDE loads up.

i have a few machines that do have numlock on start up and by the time it hits lightdm the numpad is off. then after login it will turn on if forced in the kde setting. i wonder if this is a failure of lightdm or something else in the boot up procedure.

          To me this works:
System Settings -> Hardware -> Input devices -> Keyboard ... click NUM LOCK on

            Hello everybody,
I think that this manipulation is for activate the numlock in KDE but not to activate it on login screen.

I have the same trouble and install numlockx but without any modification.

Did someone have an idea ?

            Best regards
