I just performed the upgrade from 13.10 to 14.04 and most things seem to be working fine. However, when I try Lumosity's games under Opera 12.16, they will start but then after a little while they stop responding to mouse clicks. Also when I go to wunderground.com and try to view one of the animated weather radar maps, it never loads. Both of these used to work in Opera before the upgrade. Both still work in Chrome after the upgrade.

There has been a flash update since my upgrade and that has fixed the problem with Lumosity. -
Opera 12.16 is the last version of an old Opera. After that version was Opera completely redesigned, now it is in version 20 and it was not ported to Linux. So it is time to move to another browser.Kubuntu 16.04 on two computers and Kubuntu 17.04 on DELL Latitude 13Comment

Yes, I am very disappointed in the new Opera. I really like the integrated mail, mouse gestures, wand data, and the other great features in the old Opera. I'll continue to use the old Opera as long as I can. I'll probably switch to Chrome eventually.Comment
