    Low wireless signal strength

    I upgraded from 13.10 to 14.04 and everything went fairly well. One thing I've noticed though is my signal strength is super low. On saucy it was around 90-95% most of the time and now it hovers around 0-2%. I'm connected and it hasn't been disconnecting or anything so I'm not sure if it is the actual strength or it's just reporting it wrong. Nothing else has changed other than updating.

    I'm using the TL-WN725N Wireless N Nano.

    Code:
    wlan1     Link encap:Ethernet  HWaddr c0:4a:00:1d:75:9a
              inet addr:192.168.8.110  Bcast:192.168.8.255  Mask:255.255.255.0
              inet6 addr: fe80::c24a:ff:fe1d:759a/64 Scope:Link
              UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1

              TX packets:1191896 errors:0 dropped:1 overruns:0 carrier:0
              collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000
              RX bytes:2547905208 (2.5 GB)  TX bytes:140016226 (140.0 MB)
    Code:

    Any ideas?
