Hi
I was upgrading from 13.10 to 14.04, but an error interrupted the process when it was at 40% (installing packages).
So, the system now doesn't start. If I select the "advanced options" from the boot menu, I can enter into the KDE, but, in the console, nothing works. If I use "sudo dpkg --configure -a" appears the error Segment violation fault (`core' generated). The same for every command "sudo apt-get".
If I press CTRL+ALT+F3 , login loops when I type my user. always ask for "login".
Is there any way to solve this without a new fresh installation?
Regards
