Just an update... thought I'd do something I haven't tried before, which is to use the video driver that is installed by default: xserver-xorg-video-nouveau. Rebooted and now I can access the service manager without error. Woo-hoo and yes, it's the first time ever that I've been able to do that. Usually, when I perform an install, the first step is to get the 2 x video cards working which means using the NVidia driver.
But, using the Nouveau driver isn't a solution as I then go from 3 monitors down to 1...
Unfortunately, I must have the NVidia driver to run the monitors. Any thoughts?
