    Bluetooth not working on 14.04

    Hi,

I have recently installed Kubuntu 14.04 on my Packard Bell EasyNote TE69KB. I can't seem to manage to get Bluetooth (internal chipset, not dongle) to work. I've just moved from Linux Mint 16 Petra with KDE installed via console (since LM KDE .iso did not work properly). My previous issues were posted here, in case you want to check. I will post the link in the first comment.

So, hcitool dev does find my adapter, and so does lspci -v, but hcitool scan (and of course Bluedevil) just keep on scanning and scanning.

Some codes if you want them:

    lspci -v

    Code:

And this is what hcitool scan (and sudo hcitool scan) throws out:

    Code:

It stays like that for 20 seconds and then ends.

So, for what it seems, Bluetooth adapter is recognized and its drivers are installed, but it cannot find anything. So, what do?

        Bump!

I'm on Windows, about to update BIOS from v2.07 to v2.09 as of right now. I don't think that will help, but it's worth a try.

Aaaaand couldn't update BIOS. I think the installer is for W8, not W7, and I removed it.
