How to change the size of the panel?

How do I change the size of the icons onthe panel without having thre panel have a panel act up. Meaning when I change something to make it larger than once I reboot the the clock never sits in the corner again alway in the middle of the panel.

    thanks

You could try deleting the widget and re-adding it. Or recreate the panel.
Some of the widgets are certainly buggy, another one that acts up is the Activity switcher, when added to the panel it will get big each reboot and you see it reduce itself slowly as you switch activities with it.
At least that is my experience in 14.04/KDE4.
    Kubuntu 18.04 on AMD

Yes I looked at te KDE fourm and one post asked almost the same question and was replied that users can not really change the size due to the way the panel is setup
in KDE 4.1.x. maye that will change in KDE 5.x. I will just add the folder to the desktop that is what I do in windows and macs.

I'm confused as to what you mean. Maybe a screen shot of what's happening and a better description as to what your seeing and what you want to see?

I re-size my panel and change it's width and location every time I install. Some of the Icons don't properly re-size, but that's an Icon issue not a panel one.

and BTW, I'm using KDE 4.13.3 and you are too if you're using 14.04 and it's updated. KDE 4.13 is a long way and a lot different than 4.1. I wouldn't trust a webpage for advice or information from 2009.

This is for the future in case i change back to the panel. The panel would not be as i set it when i rebooted. the clock and the system info like sound, wireless would be gone would not be in the right corner. The only way to get all back fir me was to remove and create a new main panel.

            Thanks
