GT520 doesn't show dual configuration anymore

    Hi,

I have a NVIDIA GT520 in my suystem with two screens connected, one DVI and the other one via VGA. Noew my dual screen setup used to work just fine until I upgraded to 14.04. Now, I only get my primary screen (DVI) to display something and I've lost the ability to configure two screens in System Settings - Dipslay and Monitor, only one screen shows up there now. My driver is set to Using NVIDIA binary driver - version 331.38 from nvidia-331 (Recommended Driver - I switched to this after I realized that the Nuveau driver from X.Org didn't seem to work - only to realize that this one doesn't work either... I also don't see any hint of a second head in the NVIDIA X Server Settings - How can I get my second head up and running again?

Thank you for any hints and recommendations!

Know what, I was gone for the day but upon arrival back home, X-server had restarted and guess what, all of a sudden I have aboth screens aghain... fine but it makes me a little nervous as I'd like to know what haappened while I was away, no one had touched my computer... - WEIRD! And in my NVIDIA X Server Settings, there's now many more options available inclusive configuration options for both monitors, before I only had X Server infomration and X Server Display Configuration but there was no Apply nor Advanced bttons there but they're there now, so is the Detect Displays button now - wasn't there before.... Odd!!!
