maybe SSTP VPN Network Manager plugin in the future?

Will there be SSTP VPN in Network Manager?
My company uses Windows SSTP server and it is a best way to connect to avoid firewalls (hotels, public places etc.). http://sourceforge.net/projects/sstp-client/

I'm guessing probably not at this time in the 14.04 kubuntu release. At this point we're already past the final release software freeze. However, you can always download the git source and netmanager source and compile them yourself. If your adventurous, there are pretty clear descriptions as to how to go about this on the documentation page for the project at http://sstp-client.sourceforge.net/

The worst you can do is waste some time and break things. (and ...of course if your experimenting don't do so on a production machine and a good backup is always recommended. )
