Muon-updater does not work

Hi,

I recently upgrade to 13.10.

Now I can see systray icon which inform me about possible software updates. But if I click it muon-updater starts and says that no available updates.
If I check updates again I see a systray icon again but no iformation at Muon updater window.

I can update with Muon Package manager though.

How to force Muon Updater work?

Muon Package Manager: 2.1.0

If the version is earlier than 2.1 do the upgrade with the command line:

Update package database:

sudo apt-get update

Upgrade:

sudo apt-get upgrade

or

sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

Check the muon version.

If the version is 2.1 and the problems are still there file a new bug report.

Had/have the same problem.

This raises the question: why didn't muon get upgraded during the 13.04 to 13.10 upgrade?

At here the 13.10 is as good as the 13.04 - but I'm not using the Kubuntu desktop package...

Looks like a lot of folks (myself included) have seen this same issue (bug report filed.) In the meantime, apt-get update && apt-get upgrade will serve you well until this gets fixed.
