    Okular will not print

My copy of Okular on 13.10 is broken. I can view documents, but in order to print I have reboot into Windows and use the Adobe reader.

These are not new forms (pdf docs), but docs that were generated in 2010, 2011 and 2012.

The docs worked fine on Okular under 13.04.

    Anybody else having this problem??

I assume you meant "didocs", but what is a didoc format? Is the an example of such a document on the Web you can point me to?
Windows no longer obstructs my view.
Using Kubuntu Linux since March 23, 2007.

I have corrected the typo in OP. Thanks

Something like this happened to me long ago. The only way I could get it to print was to go into Options in the Print dialogue, then PDF Options, and check Force rasterization. Hasn't happened in years, so it's unlikely to work for you.

Okular printing has been problematic for me for some years. The problem may be in a library, libpoppler, that has problems; when I looked into the okular bug tracker they were pointing the finger at libpoppler.

There may be no need to boot windows, though. The Gnome PDF viewer, evince, prints what I need, and doesn't pull in huge parts of Gnome when installed. Firefox has its own pdf renderer these days, though I haven't tried printing with it.

That's strange because I can print repeatedly in Okular where as in Firefox for example, after the first printing job, I have to fiddle with the printing options or even reboot for a second print job, so now I 'print to file' (*.pdf) and later print multiple files one by one in/from Okular.

Brother HL-1435 on usb, have all the correct driver(s) installed, 12.0.4.x kept updated on a (manual) weekly basis.
