    Weird screen/audio freezes......

Not sure if this is a kde thing, a system thing or maybe a hardware issue.

Strange freezes, for no obvious reason (most recently playing supertux after a couple of hours of random surfing).

The game just started to get a little jerky on both the image and sound, then eventually froze, with a few tiny stutters of sound trying to come back on, but nothing happening with the image.

I understand that if it's a system issue, there might be something, somewhere in /var/log, but there seems to be lots of directories in there, so how do I know where and what too look for ?

p.s. and I put this on the soapbox as I have no idea where it should really go as a "general" sort of question........

Graphics card in your rig? Sound card/audio chip too? How much RAM?

So judging by where you posted this, you are running 13.10? Without a lot more info, if you haven't made any monumental software changes lately, I would start looking in the direction of your hardware. Maybe post what hardware you have too?
