That sounds like a good plan to me.
I'll work on it. So far, everything is just fine and the laptop is super fast and light.

- hibernation works perfectly and it restart so quickly.
- the fan seems to work less than on windows 8, which is good
- I read that the kernel 3.12 will add support to the turbo mode of the processor, but I have to read more about it to understand the real challenge.

I love this laptop and the way KDE work on it.

I started to look for how to remove the windows entry in the boot menu.
But I think it is not in grub, that I need to go, but in "rEFInd"
I think that this "guy" generate the first boot menu with all the icons for windows and linux.
Then Grub start and only display the kubuntu entries, not the windows one.

Am I correct?

I started to read about http://www.rodsbooks.com/refind/ and it looks like most of the entry are "auto detected".
Am I correct? I have not yet found which file(s) to modify to remove the windows entries and to go directly to grub.

If you have any indication, it would be welcome.
