Upgrade to 13.10. LibreOffice Calc freezes when moving cells. That is, highlighting a block of cells and then attempting a move with the mouse causes calc to freeze and leaves an unresponsive keyboard. and inability to interact with the OS. Only solution is a reboot. Reported the bug at the LibreOffice site and saw several similar bug reports with othe distros. Has anyone else here seen this?

Known bug in LO, not specific to Kubuntu, but seems to be KDE-specific. One option is to remove the libre0ffice-kde package (fugly), or don't drag and drop cells - selecting with mouse is OK, just not the dragging.

I wonder isf using a different theme helps?
------nope.
You don't have to reboot, just ctl-alt-f1 to a terminal, then back to the screen with ctl-alt-f7, it might take a second or 5 switching to the terminal, so give it a try or 2 before giving up and rebooting there.

I did try Ctrl-Alt-F2 when it occurred with no success. I will try Ctrl-Alt-F1 but it is any different?
EDIT:I guess it is different because that worked.Last edited by richb; Oct 19, 2013, 02:18 PM.Linux because it works. No social or political motives in my decision to use it.
