    daily build wireless connection fail

I've tried for 4 days on the daily build, both 64 bit and 32 bit,

I like the new layout of the wireless plasma connection widget, and it sees my wireless router but won't connect.

    I'm using wpa/wpa2 personal security

my wireless as per lspci is : 02:00.0 Network controller: Qualcomm Atheros AR9285 Wireless Network Adapter (PCI-Express) (rev 01)

I've been hoping this resolves soon as I'm sure it will, however, I'm posting here to inquire as to anyone else having issues? Does anyone know of any bug reports on this?

    thank you
    Dale

      I am seeing those, too.

If I remember right, some NetworkManager updates were pushed out at the same time as this "last connection" app some week, or so, ago....
I think this flakiness coincides with that update.

Besides the normal "link becomes ready", "Calling CRDA to update world regulatory domain", etc stuff related to conections going up and down, I see these:

      Sep 3 02:09:44 thelap kernel: [19699.805742] traps: wpa_supplicant[3133] trap stack segment ip:4b1795 sp:7fff57f3fe80 error:0

      and

      Sep 3 02:16:15 thelap kernel: [20090.441766] wpa_supplicant[5961]: segfault at 21 ip 00000000004b1880 sp 00007fffcccfb420 error 4 in wpa_supplicant[400000+15f000]

      Regards,

ok,, it works for me now too, but still can't connect from the widget. I can only connect if I 'edit connections' and make new connections from there....

I DO NOT like it sam I am At this point. I surely do hope they improve it. The old plasma connect was much prettier. I will give them time to make it pretty again.

I have to reply to my own post, because I cheered a bit too early...
