    Beginer lost the system tray

I did something and now I am missing the system tray and there are a lot of useful icons down there, how do I get it back?

Unlock widgets, right-click on the panel, add widgets, add tray.

Add the "Notification Area" widget back to the panel.

If you don't know how to add a widget, let us know and we'll give you step-by-step instructions.

EDIT: looks like oshunluvr beat me to it

Only because I kept it short, lol!

We should write a how-to on adding the immutable setting to basic desktop items like the tray so people don't accidentally delete them. Happens all the time.

True. and not a bad idea at all.

Most of the misclick-removal-accidents can be avoided by keeping widgets locked during regular use, and only unlocking them when actually making changes...but immutable widgets should be a nice option as well.
