    Firefox and printing to file

I don't know what is going on with Firefox in 13.04. Maybe it's just my setup.

When I print to a file, the file selection dialog comes up to pick the directory to print to, I select the desired directory, and then I type the filename.

But no matter what I do, Firefox always outputs the print to the Home directory.

I then have to use Dolphin to move the file to the correct directory. At least it gets the filename correct.

Is there some new (?) setting in the current Firefox that does this

I have noticed something rather weird, when the directory dialog comes up and I select "print to file", the "save in folder" bar is blank. It used to show a default directory. Something changed.

Any idea how to get Firefox to print to the selected directory.

Just tried it, file went to the directory I selected. What version of firefox are you using? I use the version (21.0) from the Blue Shell ppa, which has slightly better integration with KDE, maybe it would work better for you.

Well, mine is 21.0 also. The version that came standard with 13.04.

How do I get the Blue Shell ppa? Maybe I should try it?!

In FF 21.0 it printed to file in the folder which I designated.
