After upgrading (with some problems), I noticed my CrashPlan backup was not working.
I attempted a fresh install, but it aborted, leaving a number of directories (including their bin) unpopulated.
So I went to my local backup and copied all of the CrashPlan directories back to my system drive. It works perfectly!
However, their support desk wants to blame the Kubuntu Java installation. I think this is wrong, since restoring my original install didn't affect the Java VM visible to Kubuntu. I suspect that something changed in 13.04 which affects their generic linux install script. Are there any other users of CrashPlan/Kubuntu who have had trouble reinstalling this program?
