wubi fix?

Any chance we are going to get a working grub in this version or will we have to wait for 13.10? I downloaded 13.04 on day one of release and installed it and still cannot boot into it.... it's really depressing. I have always been a big fan of Kubuntu even when my tv tuner card and my wireless card would not work with it, oh and gaming is difficult with some games but I still stuck with it installing every new iteration and enjoying it but now since I am trying to dual boot with Win8.... I can no longer use Kubuntu I am hoping that the engineer types can work out the problem with grub and Win8 soon.

(added: I forgot to mention I do no have UEFI, I am strictly old school BIOS still, also I said wubi in the subject but I meant grub loader. Was just reading about the wubi problems with Windows 8 so got stuck in my head lol)

ok again..... I am an idiot. I wish I would have just tried to re-install in the first place..... going through like I normally do all confident since I have done this a million times, I missed the option (of course) if where to install the grub..... so yeah nevermind. I figured it out myself.

Man, I'm sure glad that I'm not the only one that does things like that.
