Internet Connection Slow After Install 13.04

After a clean install of 13.04 my internet speed dropped from 50Mbps to under 6Mbps... Can't find a reason for it
I had the cable guy out and it's not my connection, it's something with Kubuntu... my Windows (wife's) machine is still connecting at top speed

Are you sure it's software related and not hardware related?

If you want help, you're going to have to list specifics of your system, how you're connecting, and what you've done to determine the problem.
