Monitor going to sleep while computer active.

I have a fully updated beta 2 13.04 but for some reason since upgrading from 12.10 the monitor will go to sleep while i'm working on the computer. Even stranger is when you move the move or keyboard the light on the monitor comes on but it displays a message saying no signal detected.Issue is definately related to the OS because bever seen the problem on dual boot windows 7.

If you open a console window and run:

xset -dpms

Does the problem go away?
