    New Font - Oxygen

Oxygen Sans and Mono - Giving it a spin, usually I use Bitstream Vera Sans and Mono.

At first I thought it to small and spidery but after a days usage I'm loving it! very readable even at small sizes and a sleek elegant look. Goes great with Oxygen.

I have anti-aliasing enabled (96dpi) with RGB sub pixel rendering and hinting set to slight.

All system fonts are set to 11 pt with the window title bolded.

Would love to see a screenshot. I tried it when it first came out, and found it difficult to read. From what I've read, it's been improved.

        Hey, it is looking better!

But, uhm, the message window is still using the Ubuntu font. Take a look at the lower-case "y."

Gah, still updating individual app settings. Updated img with start menu as well.

Not sure if Oxygen Mono is working out as a konsole font, a bit uneven at 11pts. It looks a lot better at 12 pts though.

Actually I've bumped all my std font sizes to 12pt, it does look much better, though takes more space of course.

Maybe I just need to accept getting older ...

I've tried the Oxygen font a good while ago and wasn't too impressed.
If it's improved now, I could give it another try. Where can you download the latest version?

I just installed the font and had it replace the Ubuntu font in System Settings. It looks great. It seems to be a tad narrower than Ubuntu (the font) and just as readable @ 9 pt. on 1440x900. Kudos to the developers responible for the font package.
