Rekonq is close but not quite there, and konquerer has too many sites saying it won't work

Another one who went back to Konqueror with the epic fail of rekonq 2.0
I had just written in the Quantal Software forum about it:
http://www.kubuntuforums.net/forumdi...ftware-Support
However, the Blueshell repository *does* have the patched build of Firefox 19 for Raring:

I've tried Chromium, but it didn't feel right, plus it has that horrible tabs on tob nonsense... Yuck. The configurability of Chromium (and derivates) is just plain abysmal. Not touching Chrome with its integrated phone-home-functionality, reporting everything about your surfing habits to Google and such.
Tried Opera recently, and while it's not bad, they axed the theme support, and the default theme is just plain ugly. What's now wrongly called "Themes" is nothing but a customised background image.Kubuntu Raring Ringtail x64 w/ Kde 4.10.5
Multimedia packages for Kubuntu x64 (x264 10bit, mplayer2, Aegisub etc.)

I'll just add my vote for konqueror. It was always my favourite kde app back in the day when it had some love from the kde devs. Back in the kde3 days I was set to pre-load a couple of konqueror instances because it was my primary web browser, file manager, ftp client, image viewer, audio ripper etc. By the magic of kparts I could achieve so much of my work flow through konqueror, and it was one of the things that attracted me to kde in the first place.
I never understood the logic or splitting out dolphin, and then rekonq. I remember hearing from kde devs that konqueror was "too complicated", but I never, ever heard a user say that. Like all of kde's supposed "complexity", it's well hidden if you don't want to go looking for it.

Anybody check the news lately? Google is going on an ad blocker killing spree. They've removed all ad blockers on the play store and I am very sure it won't take long before they remove it from Chrome as well. In that case, no matter how technologically strong Chrome is, it will never take back the title of my favourite browser. I only started using Firefox 6 months ago and Chrome for almost 4 years.
