    Raring with Kernel 3.8

Just wondering if anyone is having any issues after upgrading to Kernel 3.8.

I upgraded last night and now when I go into System Settings - Input Devices as soon as I click on Touchpad Input Devices crashes. Eveything seems to be working fine other than that.

That was a problem for me even before the 3.7 -> 3.8 kernel upgrade. The Xorg driver for Synaptics touchpads has undergone some major changes. And even though the KDE control module has been through one round of fixes, it still seems to be causing problems. However, you can run synaptiks (note the "k") from Alt+F2 and still configure your touchpad. This method invokes the configuration page in a way that kcmshell apparently avoids.

That worked. The Settings hadn't changed.

      Thanks
