    Setup VSFTPD with Virtual Users

    I have followed this guide:
    http://www.sigerr.org/linux/setup-vs...u-step-by-step

Everything worked fine till I tried to upload a file. The ftp user can log in fine but cant upload files. Filezilla claims
Response: 553 Could not create file.
    Error: Critical file transfer error
    Status: Disconnected from server

I tried to chown /var/www/ to ftpsecure nogroup to see if it was an ownership issue, but it's not. Any ideas?

Yes I have followed it exactly. Otherwise I would get an error about chroot according the the article(and I tested setting "root" to 777 to be sure" and got the error listed in the troubleshooting section).
