For the first time since getting my new 5770(using proprietary drivers), I decided to use the HDMI out.Everything worked great but now every time I reboot, my computer thinks I have an extended desktop, but the HDMI cable is not plugged in. After every reboot, I have to go in to display settings and click unify outputs. After that I click apply, and acept the changes. Now I am in a proper single monitor config. Now I can uncheck unify outputs, apply, accept, and my display settings are good to go until the next reboot.I have tried making changes both in Kubuntu's display settings and the CCC settings, but it always seems to think a second display exists after reboot even though I am unable to change the resolution or other settings of the imaginary second display. How can I fix this once and for all?!
