      I'm at a loss then why this isn't working for you. It has to be something simple though. One thing you can try, is installing auto-complete-el.

        Yep I saw the same question on askubuntu and tried that as well. No luck.

          Does running source /etc/bash_completion improve things at all?
          Windows no longer obstructs my view.
