amarok libamarok_collection-daapcollection.so seems to be missing.

    hi,

i have a daap server up and running on my wlan. the daap seems to be working because Rhythmbox can connect and stream songs from it.

    amarok cannot.

i have been looking around for a solution and it seems libamarok_collection-daapcollection.so is missing.

how do i locate this package and add it please?

    thank you,

    oznola

i am running amarok 2.6.0 with kde 4.9.5, linux kernel 3.5.0-23-generic.

have you gone into Amarok's settings to see if the daap plugin is enabled? How did you determine that this file is missing?

        hi,

i have checked the daap plugin before. it was required for a daap plugin to be checked for rhythmbox to see the daap share also.

amarok does not see the daap share even with the daap plugin checked.

EDIT: i know it's missing because i searched for it in /usr/ and it was not found.
