    Acrobat Reader strange font

    Hi,

another question: I have a pdf file that contains fields to enter in data. The data can be saved. I tried editing the doc using Okular or Evince, but with both the saving doesn't work. Once they are saved, the contents of the fields become invisible or won't be printed, which is essential.
So, I am stuck with Acrobat Reader, which does the saving properly. However, the font in the fields is weird and hard to read. I have a screenshot:

I guess this is because the author of the form (not me) didn't include the font for the fields, and acroread uses a default font from Windows, which is replaced in Unix by this strange font, but I may be wrong. Is there a way to tell Adobe Reader to use a different font?

Perhaps installing the package ttf-mscorefonts-installer would help? I'll admit this is just a guess.

Adobe Reader assumes the traditional Windows fonts are available. On a Linux computer, this not always the case. The package you installed adds these fonts to your system.
