Has any other QQ user run into this problem? My Thunderbird 17.0.2 is not opening URLs (included in emails) with Firefox. Nothing happens when an apparently active URL is clicked on, or even when I right-click and choose "Open Link in Browser." The only alternative is to "Copy Link location," open Firefox manually, and paste the link into the address pane.
T-bird Preferences/Attachments have "Actions" as "Use Firefox Web Browser (Default)" for "Content Type" http and https. Firefox IS set as the default browser.
A request for help on the MozillaZine Thunderbird forum has (so far) brought 26 views but no replies.
EDIT: I tried setting Konqueror as the default browser, and a URL included in an email opened right up. So it has something to do with Firefox, or the way I've identified it in the Preferences! Progress, I guess...
EDIT2: Solution was to locate the correct Firefox executable; it was just /usr/bin/firefox. Setting that in Thunderbird preferences worked.
