The updates installed without issue and KDE is working quite well here as well (on 12.04.1).
    Nowadays I'm mostly Mac, but...

        See http://www.kubuntuforums.net/showthr...(KDE-4-10-RC3)

The original thread was for KDE 4.9.5 and it became mixed with KDE 4.9.97, so I split the thread.

What do I need to do in order for 4.9.5 to show up in my updates?

Updated my desktop, an core2duo imac, to 4.9.5 and it works flawless. Jack connection works now, wineasio driver loads, and Reaper works perfect, something all 3 would not do in 4,9.4.
