Missing Icons from Icon Task Manager

Before my reinstall, I found that after upgrading VMWare Server from 9.0 to 9.1, the launcher icon on the icon only task manager disappeared when the program wasn't open, but the icon was actually there, just invisible/hiding. When vmware was open, the icon showed fine. On this install, vmware's icon works as designed..but Vuze icon is doing the exact same thing.

I think you have to right click on the icon when the program is open and select use as launcher.

I noticed that if you have another task manager running in the panel it causes conflicts. Right click on the panel and remove all tasks. Then put it back. I use smooth tasks and it works better imho.

Paully, like I said the icon is there, just invisible. So it is already set as a launcher.

Remove it as a luancher. navigate to home/username/.kde/cache and delete the icon-cache.kcache

You may want to change your icone theme first. Then put it back after your done and re launch the program. I'm just trying ideas here. Really don't know if it will work.

Thanks, but no luck with deleting the cache. It was worth a try though.
