    Netflix

    I am trying to get netflix install but the install stops at "configuring ttf-mscore-fonts-installer" The terminal shows the microsoft ttf eula. I am using the following instructions and am on the third step when it freezes. Am I missing something? or does it take longer than an hour to install? This has happened on two different computers on both the latest version of Ubuntu and Kubuntu.

    $ sudo apt-add-repository ppa:ehoover/compholio
    $ sudo apt-get update
    $ sudo apt-get install netflix-desktop

    any help would be appreciated

    Are you accepting the MS EULA by hitting TAB key and ENTER?

    Also, please bear in mind that your idea of what the latest version of (k)ubuntu is may differ greatly from somebody else's.

      that is something I did not know...They could have mentioned it in the instructions :-)

      well, I figured since I was posting in the 12.10 section it would have been obvious but then I guess pressing the tab should have been obvious too :-) but you are right...the latest could have been the beta, the lts or whatever

        There is much complaining on the internets about the lack of instructions to the STUPID interface that the MS fonts EULA uses, and how simple instructions explaining the non-standard usage of the damn thing could have saved many many hours of hair-pulling and head-desk-banging.

          Tab - enter was an easy fix - something so simple made all the difference. Thanks for the help.
