Hi guys,
I was having troubles with kmail so though as I'd ugrade KED to the latest version I'd replace .kde and see what happened. Sadly, it made no difference, so when I tried to put my saved .kde back, it had vanished (yeh, I know fat fingers). I grabbed a copy from my backup (surprise surprise I had one) and all looked to be OK.
BUT...
Now every time I restart the system, its forgotten the outgoing email password I've asked it to save, the blue tooth pairings have gone etc etc. I'm guessing its a permissions problem somewhere within .kde but I can't find it. Does anyone know where things like passwords for outbound smtp servers etc are stored and accessed? It really is driving me nuts.
Thanks.
Peter.
