Is safe to update to KDE 4.9.4?

I am running Kubuntu 12.10 and it is great, i saw the news and there are updates to KDE 4.9.4

Does some body have done the update?, is it safe?, is it stable?, is it recommended to update?

If you are on 4.9.x then it should be safe as it is only a maintenance release with bug fixes and security patches (no new code/features to break in interesting ways).
