    Google Earth 7 crashes

Anyone having trouble with Google Earth stable AMD64 crashing on 12.10? It installs for me on my Asus Netbook with i3 and on chip Intel video. When it opens, it immediately crashes (splash screen only) and gives me a log file to send to Google for a bug report.

Anyone else have it running correctly at this point? What did you do?

    Thanks.

    Frank.

I downloaded and installed google-earth-stable_7.0.1.8283-r0_amd64.deb and it is working without a hitch. You do have to make sure that you have your video driver capable of 3D. Also, if Google Earth crashes, it may be necesary to delete an instance-running-lock file in the ~/.googleearth directory in your home area.
