I did a clean install of 12.10. I was using Evolution in 12.04. I exported my settings but the set up in 12.10 won't import them. So how do I do a manual transfer of settings and mail? I saved my old home folder.

So here's an update. It appears that there is a bug. I tried to set up the email account manually. When I get to the screen that asks for the incoming server, I enter "pop" "pop.aol.com" and use "SLL" which sets the port to 995, which is what AOL calls for. Then I hit the check for supported types and Evolution freezes. Conky shows a pid but when I try to kill the process nothing happens and I can't restart Evolution. -
