LiveDVD: typing any key in Konsole sends me to a Plasma screen requiring a password

I can't believe I am the first one to report this or the only one to experience this. So much for "trying" Kubuntu. Did I get a hold of a bad image? The sha256 sum matched and "check media" reported no problems.

Dolphin file manager works just fine as do other GUI elements. But I can't get a command line in the GUI and am forced to use a text console instead.

Do you have a wireless adaptor? the password request might be for it

Sounds like you launched the konsole using "sudo"
