I've posted a bug, but there seems to be no activity whatsoever - can anyone help?
Bug Report
I am running a Gigabyte GA-H67MA-UD2H-B3 SandyBridge motherboard, with dual monitors attached to the motherboard (Displayport & VGA). I did a fresh install of Kubuntu 12.10 from USB to a new HDD. Kubuntu boots, I log in and then it randomly crashes and reboots without warning. I have found that replacing the distro's kernel packages with the v3.3.8-quantal from http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/ does remedy the issue. I also find that any subsequent release on mainline crashes as above. This is also the case for my Precise version of Kubuntu, which crashes with everything except 3.3.8-quantal.
If anyone can help or advise on how I can contribute to getting this fixed, I'd be grateful.
